2024 Wrapped: Bodega PR’s Year of Connection and Impact

From the quest for men in finance to painting the summer in BRAT green, adopting a demure mindset, and ensuring our fridges were always stocked with cucumbers for Logan’s next viral recipe, 2024 has been a year packed with trends that captured our attention - sometimes more than we care to admit. As we look back on the past year, we’re reminded of the moments that defined it, shaping memorable moments and leaving lasting impressions. These snapshots evoke memories of a year full of change, creativity, and connection.

At Bodega PR, 2024 has been an extraordinary year to remember. From onboarding new clients and hosting standout events to forging deeper connections between brands and their audiences, it’s been a journey filled with milestones. Join us as we highlight some of the standout moments that defined our year!

In April, we partnered with the Thai Trade Centre to showcase the versatility and quality of Thai Rice to Canadian audiences. This collaboration allowed us to implement a targeted influencer relations campaign, distribute custom recipe kits to inspire creativity in the kitchen, and host an engaging cooking event with Julie Miguel at The Chef Upstairs. Additionally, we secured extensive media coverage, sharing innovative recipe ideas that highlighted Thai Rice across online platforms, print publications, and broadcast channels. By combining influencer and media relations, we achieved over 9.5 million impressions, making this campaign a resounding success.

In May, we proudly welcomed Halo Top to the Bodega family, helping introduce two irresistible new flavors to Canada: Cookies and Cream (with 75% more cookies!) and Chocolate Caramel Brownie. Together, we reimagined indulgence, inspiring Canadians to fall in love with their favorite sweet treats all over again.

We kicked off summer in July with the Say Halo to Summer party in Toronto, celebrating Halo Top’s week-long partnership with waterfront café Cold Beans, which exclusively served Halo Top for all summer coffee and ice cream cravings.

In August, Bodega headed to Vancouver for the Hike to the Heavens event, where we invited 25 influencers for a day of wellness activities. From scenic hikes to calming meditation sessions, guests embraced the balanced lifestyle Halo Top represents—all while enjoying the outdoors with a scoop of deliciousness in hand! Over the course of our six-month program with Halo Top, we generated just over 28 million impressions, inspiring Canadians to rediscover the joy of indulging in their favourite dessert all over again.

Bodega’s 2024 would not have been complete without another incredible year with Orveon Beauty! The highlight? A 24-day takeover at both of Toronto’s Sweat & Tonic locations.

After Laura Mercier’s Real Flawless Foundation went viral early in the year, our team was determined to keep the momentum going while creating opportunities to showcase beloved products alongside exciting new launches. Through paid influencer campaigns and two private workout classes with 120 influencers, Bodega focused on leveraging influencer relations to make this collaboration a success.

To prepare guests for their fitness classes, we gifted each attendee an Orveon Beauty essentials kit. Partnering with the wellness community, we also hosted branded workout classes for Sweat & Tonic users, delivered curated gifts throughout the month, and transformed Tonic House socials by exclusively featuring Laura Mercier, Buxom, and bareMinerals products. These activities were part of a month-long fitness challenge celebrating these three favorite beauty brands.

The results? Over 40 million impressions generated from 455 pieces of content. We’re proud to have been part of an initiative that celebrates the idea that beauty is for everyone.

Our partnership with Orveon Beauty in 2024 delivered standout engagement across Canada through media outreach and paid influencer campaigns. From bold Buxom looks with Audrey Nugent and Abi Sri to red carpet-ready glam at TIFF with Laura Mercier’s Pink Translucent Loose Setting Powder, we inspired beauty lovers nationwide. These efforts culminated in over 97 million impressions, showcasing the power of collaboration and creativity.

As we carried on the year into September, we were equally thrilled to partner with With Strangers, founded by the brilliant Jess Janz. From her brand relaunch from Dinner With Strangers to With Strangers, Jess’s work is all about  fostering deeper connections with those you already love and with those you have yet to meet. From relaunching her brand to co-hosting the Slow & Seed event at WellBYND and wrapping up the season with the A Taste of Dinner With Strangers year-end gathering, we were honored to help Jess create spaces for authentic conversations and shared experiences.

Most recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Lord’s Hot Sauce and The Liberty Inn to Bodega. These partnerships are just the beginning, and we can’t wait to show you what’s in store for 2025!

Looking back, 2024 was a year of growth, collaboration, and creativity at Bodega PR. As we prepare for 2025, we are thrilled to expand our team, continue our work with incredible clients, and embrace new challenges.

Thank you to everyone who shared this journey with us, we can’t wait to see what the future holds as we continue unlocking brand potential and bringing brand’s stories to life as we enter into the new year!
